5 Characters From Anime Guts Couldn’t Beat

Despite the fact that the 1990s OVA and the most recent series both failed miserably to live up to the manga’s near-perfect execution, Berserk by Kintaro Miamura is perhaps one of the best manga series of all time. Guts is the name of our “hero” (if we can call him that).

1.Could Beat Guts: Lelouch (Code Geass)

This entry isn’t particularly fair, since Guts is more accustomed to a cold, heartless universe than anybody else. Guts isn’t going to be able to deal with the Geass Lelouch wields, even if he’s dressed out in full Berserker gear. The protagonist of Code Geass, Lelouch, possesses a highly useful skill. He can effectively mesmerize the victim into doing whatever he wants if he makes eye contact with them. If Guts betrayed him, he might easily drive him to commit suicide, putting an end to his quest for vengeance.

2. Could Beat Guts: Ichigo (Bleach)

Ichigo Kurosaki is extremely powerful, and in addition to his human talents, he is also a shinigami, which means he does much the same job as Guts.

They both spend a lot of time killing demons and the like; the difference is that Guts lacks the same level of spiritual energy and lacks a soul weapon. While Guts can defeat demon after demon, Ichigo is stronger than most demons, has the ability to shield himself, and has vast energy reserves.

Homura Akemi, from the deconstructionist magical girl anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica, is from a similar dark fantasy environment to Guts. Guts would undoubtedly put up a brave battle against the magical little girl, who should be a rather simple target. Having said that, she does have an ace under her sleeve. She possesses the capacity to halt the passage of time. She could simply freeze time and fill Guts with AK47 bullets, no matter how hard he fought.

4. Could Beat Guts: Rin (Blue Exorcist)

Rin, the exorcist from Blue Exorcist, isn’t someone Guts should be fooling with. Guts is a complete monster, which will work to his favor, but Rin is the son of Satan himself. While Guts has a strong dislike for anything demonic, it is unlikely to help him. Rin can renew himself in minutes and is so terrifying that he even scared death! While the berserker armor has the power to passively heal the wearer, because it consumes blood as fuel, it can also act against them and kill them.

5. Could Beat Guts: Akame (Akame Ga Kill)

Fortunately, Guts wouldn’t have to deal with Akame’s expertise of assassination because he’s normally awake all night and doesn’t sleep due to his ongoing search for demons. Having said that, she does have a Teigu. Her Teigu, which is a sort of weapon in the Akame Ga Kill! universe, is a katana that is totally coated in a poison that kills someone nearly instantly. There’s no way she wouldn’t get a cut on Guts, and once she did, it’d be game over for him.
